Steveston Medicine Shoppe
During my time as a volunteer at Steveston Medicine Shoppe in 2018, I created acrylic window paintings, chalkboard illustrations, as well as infographics and advertisements using Canva, to promote and support community health. The unique experience allowed me to explore and showcase my artistic skills, whilst uplifting the surrounding community. The gallery below features some of the work I had created for the pharmacy!
Reflection
My time volunteering at the pharmacy was impactful as it helped me realize my passion for arts and demonstrated how I could use my design skills to better support my community. The opportunity to create art that brought joy and positivity to a community also sparked my passion and purpose of using design to make positive impacts on people, communities, and the surrounding world.
